Small oval shaped jug with unique deconstructed willow pattern decoration.

Unique landscapes made using a mixture of familiar and beautiful sets of the classic Willow Pattern.

The famous blue and white Willow Pattern was an 18th century English interpretation of fashionable hand painted ware from China. The legend of the Willow pattern evolved as an early marketing ploy by Minton.

Our very limited stocks of three versions of Willow pattern (including Spode and English Ironstone) have been pulled apart and reconstructed to form surreal landscapes that encourage you look again at the quality of the transfer.

The unlikely story of their survival, and creation through Stokes Croft China and ceramicist Bev Milward, make this body of work a highly desirable piece of ceramic history.

Twice fired to 1040 degrees, this brings out the richness blue of cobalt. Each piece is unique, hand decorated and bearing Bev's maker's mark, a key.
