Lithographs
In ceramic lithography, sheets of images called 'water-mount decals' are created by specialist printers.
The decals are then soaked in water and then applied to the ceramic surface before being fired in a kiln.
The designs used by Stokes Croft China are a mixture of salvaged decals from closing decorating factories in Stoke on Trent, and new creations by local designers.
