The Artist: Patterned Frog
Patterned Frog is a Polish artist currently based in Bristol. She works with a range of illustration, painting and cut paper art and had designed and written an adult colouring book/short story collection called Rainbows 4 Lyf during the lockdown. The piece here includes some lyrics from a polish song called Długość Dźwięku Samotności (the Length of the Sound of Silence) by an artist called Mysłowic. The words mean "and even when I wil be alone, I'm not going to change, it is not my world". The image is a silhouette of a solitary figure sitting in a tree.
