Sasha Conway started their creative journey as a stage manager and musician, but turned to oil painting and other visual creative arts after developing Long COVID.
Their art aims to reflect their disability journey, while also reflecting on the conflicts of personal identity as a Queer anarcho-syndicalist in an ableist and capitalist world.
They work predominantly in oil paint, pastel, and instant photography.

People's Art Fair: May Day // Fri 2 – Sun 11 May 2025
This piece was recently on show at the People’s Art Fair (PAF), a collaborative group exhibition devised and hosted by the PRSC and open to all artists. Our May Day Show ran from Friday 2 May - Sunday 11 May at PRSC, and featured around 150 works of art from nearly 60 artists, plus creative workshops, music, and events to inspire the artist in us all.
