Curated and hosted by PRSC, our School of Activism events are designed to be empowering experiences equipping people with the tools to challenge the status quo, contest power structures and ultimately to change the world.
At our regular School of Activism film screening this month we're showing The Pickers, an enlightening documentary looking at the lives of migrant workers in our very own food chain. Tickets are £5, but nobody turned away for lack of funds. Mon 22 June, 19:00 - 21:30 @ PRSC Space.
Comedy for Charity!
The organisers of The People's Comedy bring you a South West Comedy Extravaganza, raising money for Bristol-based charity Hope Against Suicide. Sun 21 Jun // 19:00 - 21:00 // £10 // SPACE at PRSC // Deathmatch Improv is a new improv night that pitches two narrative improv shows against one another while the directors try to shoot the other team with nerf guns. Any character shot is out of the show. Regardless of how many players ‘die’ - the show must go on! Which director is the best shot? Which players can dodge mid-joke? Which troupe can tell the best story while players drop like flies?
