Ian Wright - Gogymagog / PAF3785
Medium: Installation
Dimensions: n/a
The Artist: Ian Wright
Ian moved to Bristol in the 1990s to study fine art & subsequently architectural technology, both at UWE. He worked as an architectural designer for about 15 years. However, he became disillusioned by certain aspects of the industry, so since the Covid Interval, besides a return to making art, he works as a self employed handyman. He has had a lifelong interest in collecting & using tools from different trades & professions. This passion occasionally finds its way into his art, along with hints of poetic coincidence & sociopolitical commentary. He dips back & forth between virtual/photographic creations (sometimes available as signed giclée prints) & tangibly made artwork.
* Unless specified, dimensions apply to the unframed artwork.
