The Artist: The Art of Chris Shopland
Chris’s art celebrates the beauty of uniqueness, embracing the weird, quirky, and different aspects of humanity. From the chaotic blend of emotions to the tranquil beauty of finding calm within chaos, his paintings speak volumes about the human experience. Having grown up with what he now understands to be ADHD and Autism (AuDHD), and receiving an official diagnosis a few years ago Chris often felt like an outsider most of his life, an alien. But through art, he found a way to connect with others on a profound level. It became his language to communicate the feelings and thoughts that sometimes didn’t come easily to express in words.
