Scot's Paul Weller streak continues with this vintage plate riffing off The Jam's 1979 song Eton Rifles, still relevant now as the gap between us and the billionaires widens even further. Decorated with lots of salvaged royal print and hand-lettering, plus a reminder that the enemy doesn't arrive by boat, but by limousine.

A story of Stokes Croft, gentrification and the ongoing struggle.
In 1999, in his hometown of Bristol, Banksy painted one of his earliest pieces, 'The Mild, Mild West' on a wall in Stokes Croft. "The Republic " documents the story of Stokes Croft since, portraying a diverse community that dares to defy the cold winds of corporate power and globalisation. But their greatest challenge looms as developers target this quarter and ready their wrecking balls. Filmed over six years, with access to twenty years of personal archives, this compelling story of our times recounts the fight by locals to retain some control over their destiny in an increasingly monocultural world.
PRSC's founder Chris Chalkley will be introducing the film, along with director Quincy Andrews, then afterwards stick around for a panel discussion with Chris, Green Party Bristol Councillor Ani Stafford-Townsend, and CEO of Trinity Community Arts Emma Harvey, chaired by writer and commentator on cities Andrew Kelly. Several members of the PRSC will also be there, and are as interested as anyone else to dive deeper into Stokes Croft's radical history, and hear about the early years of 'The Republic'!
